Dr. Kannan Subramanian is a Consultant Hematologist at Sahyadri Speciality Hospital Deccan Gymkhana. He has a rich experience in clinical Hematology which includes stem cell transplant, blood transfusion and chemotherapy administration and procedural skills like Intrathecal Chemotherapy, Bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsy. He has performed a number of bone marrow transplants which includes bone marrow harvesting, red cell plasma depletion and peripheral stem cell harvesting.
He has worked in BHUJ during the earth quake in 2001 for 7 days in provision of medical aid to the victims through some NGOs.
