Consultant Medical Oncologist

Dr Shriniwas Subhash Kulkarni is a Medical Oncologist (Cancer Physician/Onco-physician), currently working as a Junior Consultant, Medical Oncologist at Sahyadri Superspeciality Hospital, Hadapsar, Pune.

He completed his MBBS from ACPM Medical College, Dhule. Subsequently, he completed his DNB Internal Medicine from Jehangir Hospital, Pune. Later, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Intensive Care Unit at Jehangir Hospital for almost two and half years.

He completed his Super Specialization DNB Medical Oncology from Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru.

He has presented a Poster on “The driver mutation analysis in NSCLC (Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma) at the prestigious ESMO ASIA conference (2018), held at Singapore.

His areas of interest include breast cancer, Ca lung, colorectal cancer, and other GI malignancies, genito-urinary and gynecological malignancies, and various hemato-lymphoid malignancies.

His area of special interest includes the implementation of newer treatment modalities such as MAbs (Monoclonal Antibodies), Oral treatment in the form of TKIs, and Immunotherapy in the management of various cancers, and to try to improve the Quality of Life of cancer patients, sparing the toxicities of chemotherapeutic agents.
