Saksham is a course that up-skills the class IV staff in the hospital as Nurse Aids and shapes their career in a brighter direction. Upon rigorous training and evaluation, the staff is re-designated as ‘Nurse Aid’ thus giving them a more dignified level of work along with monetary benefits. The staff is also re-categorized from being Unskilled to Semi-skilled.
Therefore, training them to work closely with the nurses and taking care of the patient at the time of need is done through this course.
