क्या Angioplasty और Angiography में स्टेंट फिर से ब्लॉक हो सकता है?
हाँ कभी कभी ये हो सकता है। 2 से 3% लोगो में stent में clot होने के कारण Stent thrombosis हो सकता है। आजकल ये कम हो गया है क्योंकि अब Market में Blood thinning की Advance medicines मौजूद है।
दुबारा blockage क्यों होता है?
ऐसा इसलिए होता है जब stent के अंदर की lining develop होने लग जाती है। किसी में ये lining में ये tissue excess में develop हो जाता है जिससे stent का portion narrow हो जाता है। इसे In-stent restenosis कहा जाता है।
क्या Mall और Airport पर मौजूद Metal Detecter से हमें कोई दिक्क्त होगी क्या?
Metal detector से Stent में कोई भी दिक्क्त नहीं होती अलार्म नहीं बजता। आप बिना बताये निकल सकते है कोई परेशानी नहीं होगी। लेकिन अगर Pacemaker डाला गया है तो एक pacemaker का Card हमेशा wallet में Carry करे और दिखा कर Side से जाये।
MRI का क्या करे?
Manufactures कहते है की Angioplasty के इक दम बाद MRI नहीं करना चाहिए। इसके लिए कमसे कम 8 हफ्तों का इंतज़ार करे। अब ऐसे में किसी को stroke होगया तो CT angiography करा सकते है। urgent नहीं हो तो रुक जाये।
कोई और Surgery करनी हो तो क्या करे?
कोई भी surgery से पहले blood thinning के medicines बंद करने पड़ते है और इससे stent में clotting के chances बढ़ जाते है। इसिलए 6 महीने इंतज़ार करे और उसके बाद डॉ की सलाह लेकर ही कोई surgery कराये।
क्या यह एक बड़ी Surgery है?
नहीं ये एक minimally invasive surgery है जिसमे एक point से ही पूरी surgery करि जाती है। patient को होश रहता है और वो screen पर surgery देख सकता है। इसके risk factors बहुत कम है और patient और उसके condition पर depend करता है।

कोनसा बेहतर है Angioplasty या Bypass?
अगर focal blockage है और location ठीक है तो angioplasty easy है। bypass के बाद 6-8 महीने का आराम लगता है। लेकिन अगर multiple blockage है, diabetes है, multiple stent लगेंगे तो bypass की जरुरत है। ये डॉ से सलाह ले।
Body में Stent कब तक रहेगा?
जो Waremetal और Drug illuting stent है उसके ऊपर Body की Lining grow होने लग जाती है और ये permanent हो जाता है। Bioabsorbable stent dissolve हो जाता है और 2 बाद Body में नहीं मिलता है। Stent नहीं हिलता Fix हो जाता है।
इसके अलावा angioplasty का sucess रेट 90% है लेकिन आपको lifestyle पर ध्यान देना है, exercise करना है, medicines time पर लेनी है तब ही ये procedure आपकी problem solve करेगा।
